You judge. This showed up in my email box this morning from the NRDC. Toyota, maker of the Prius, is part of a lobbying group that says a 35 mpg limit on all cars and light trucks by 2020 is undoable. (The Prius gets over 50 mpg).
The NRDC gives you the option to write a letter to Toyota North American execs and let them know what you think. I hate hypocrisy -- especially at this visceral level. Prius drivers feel proud of their choice to slow emissions and reduce gas consumption. How should they take this?
