"I believe in benevolent dictatorship provided I am the dictator." Gina Smith.
I like this one because it directly applies to my books, you know. My book, The Genomics Age, I did alone, which made it easy but lonely. It won a big award, though.
In iWOZ, the authobiography of Steve Wozniak I wrote with Steve Wozniak, we were attached at the hip. But neither of us were dictators. It was just hard to get our schedules together! (That book is due out in November and available here at Amazon now.) So the test will be whether folks like it, whether it gets an award, whether working with a second author works.
I'm guessing it does. My next book, which I'm not allowed to talk about yet, is with a famous doctor who seems easy-going enough. We shall see.
p.s. The newest episode of my TV show is up on online if you click here.
